GMAC started in 1982 to create access to independent filmmakers in Scotland. Since then they have grown to be a skills and development centre for young people, industry entrants and independent filmmakers. They act as a bridge between the local community and the screen industry and are committed to offering accessible opportunities for all who are interested in training, networking production and other innovative, practical services associated with the moving image.
A Start and Grow investment of £60K allowed GMAC to not only upgrade their screening room, but has helped them increase capacity to deliver high quality projects.
Paddy Higson, CEO said. “I want to thank the team at Resilient for their support and their encouragement. Their support has been invaluable without it we wouldn’t be where we are today.”
