Just Trading Scotland (JTS) supports farmers in Malawi and other developing countries, by importing good quality food products to be sold in the UK, under the Fair Trade banner. They provide employment at their warehouse in Paisley and promote Fair Trade, and educate a network of thousands on it’s benefits.
On 26th March, JTS celebrated their 10th anniversary with a reception in Scottish Parliament. The event charted JTS journey over the past 10 years, and guests heard inspiring speeches including one from Ben MacPherson, Minister for International Development.
Resilient Scotland was delighted to attend and hear how our investment has supported JTS on its journey and the difference it is making to not only those farmers in Malawi, but those in the West of Scotland who have been helped into employment as result of working with JTS.
