Chris Holloway, Head of Resilient Scotland

Chris joined the Resilient Scotland team as programme manager in June 2012 and has recently been appointed as the Head of Resilient Scotland. Prior to this he was the Grant Programmes Manager at Foundation Scotland, having spent the previous eight years working at the Big Lottery Fund.
As Head of Resilient Scotland, Chris oversees the work of the JESSICA (Scotland) Trust, setting the strategic direction and ensuring that investments make a real difference to the enterprising ambitions of communities.
In his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid football fan.
Rachel Peacock, Business Manager

Rachel joined the Resilient Scotland Team in January 2012. Rachel is responsible for the Start & Grow strand of Resilient Scotland’s JESSICA Fund; managing the applications through the assessment and awards processes, and ultimately monitoring the impact of the investments made
Although her career began in the private sector, Rachel has worked for many third sector organisations, most recently as Project Administrator for URBAN-NET, a European Commission funded trans-national project looking at issues of urban sustainability in cities across Europe.
Rachel has also worked as volunteer teaching adult literacy and numeracy and more recently providing support and advocacy to prisoners.
In her spare time she likes to travel, mainly within Europe, and is very slowly learning to speak Spanish.
Joanne McNeill, Investment Manager

Joanne joined the Resilient Scotland Team in August 2014 and is responsible for the assessment of new investment proposals and the relationship management of the investees. She has 15 years’ experience as a Relationship Director in corporate banking in London and Edinburgh and was latterly involved in the design and set-up phase of a company in the science education sector. She now looks to bring her broad commercial experience to the social enterprise arena.
Joanne is a member of the National Children’s Panel and is an Explore Enterprise Facilitator and Business Mentor for the Prince’s Trust. In her spare time Joanne enjoys cooking, reading and travelling.

Ian joined Resilient in January 2016 and has responsibility for assessing funding applications and for monitoring the portfolio of loans and grants.
After a lengthy career in banking, mainly as a relationship manager working with business customers, Ian was ready for a change of direction and he now seeks to use his skills and experience to support social enterprises. Ian has a longstanding interest in the charitable and social enterprise sectors, and has also been involved in voluntary work.
Outside of work Ian enjoys badminton, walking, reading and music.
Daisy joined the Resilient Scotland team in February 2018. Alongside Ian, she has responsibility for assessing funding applications and for monitoring the portfolio of loans and grants. Daisy trained as a chartered accountant with Deloitte before joining the Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of the economic development agency Scottish Enterprise. An ardent supporter for entrepreneurship for social impact, Daisy also has experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, community development and entrepreneurship support for young people.
In her spare time, Daisy enjoys spending time with her family, video and board games, and walking her dog in the countryside.
